Teleweld, Inc. was
founded in 1939 to service the railroad industry as a welding contractor.
Through the years Teleweld developed machines for its own use in its welding
operation and found that other contractors and the railroads themselves
had the same needs, therefore Teleweld became a manufacturer of grinders,
rail saws and other related equipment.
Based
on its experience as a welding contractor and ongoing engineering studies
started in 1939, Teleweld developed the technology to produce the first
Continuous Welded Rail (CWR) Heater Cars that have been in use by leading
railroads since 1969. Since then, Teleweld has been committed to manufacturing
quality products for a variety of needs and applications.
